Copy of Delayed shipping email 12-19-2022
For those with orders that have not yet shipped.
We are reaching out to apologize for any delays you may have experienced with your order. We understand that receiving your items in a timely manner is important to you, and we are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We have been shipping as usual, but a few times our carriers have informed us that it was not safe to do so due to the nature of the order contents. As a result, we have seen some packages delayed by up to three additional days, and unfortunately, in a few cases, there has been some die-off. This is why we advise customers to choose the 1 or 2-day shipping option during the winter months.
Most do not choose this method, and we regret that some orders have been affected as a result. To minimize the risk of delays or damage in the future, we encourage you to review our holiday and cold weather shipping policies.
In the meantime, please be aware that there are a few packages that will not ship until the storm passes later this week, as we are waiting to hear from the carriers to see if this is advised. However, orders with dry goods will ship as usual. If you have an order that includes live items and dry goods, we will be happy to ship the dry goods out at no cost to you. However, you must reach out to us to let us know if you would like us to do so.
Those that have paid for expedited shipping will be shipped out tomorrow as we previously stated but we will follow what the carrier advises. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
If you would like to add to your order, we are currently offering some great promotions that you can take advantage of. Simply add the additional items to your cart and checkout as local pickup. We will be sure to merge your orders so that you only have to pay one shipping fee.
Again, we apologize for any delays or issues you may have experienced with your order. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we hope to serve you better in the future.
Sincerely, Jose@TBH
