The springtails create even more surface area for themselves, ever-increasing culture growth rates.

Just add water! Mix the clay powder thoroughly to the specified ratio of water and spread around a lidded cup or tub. 

TWO parts clay to ONE part water is the optimal consistency. Distilled or RO water is preferred.
