Springtails are soft-bodied micro-insects that feed on decomposing leaf litter, animal feces, and dead plant material making them an essential element for the overall health of your vivarium ecosystem. They go hand in hand with any terrarium\vivarium just add as needed or dump the whole cup in the substrate, very beneficial for your terrarium.

Each 8oz container contains calcium-bearing clay which is rich in nutrients and minerals. Springtails absolutely thrive on this substrate much better than anything else out there. Starter cultures typically contain 100-300.

Amazing seller!

This is truly an awesome seller. My first time buying from him and I ran into a little trouble with my first order and it wasn’t even Jose’s fault yet he went above and beyond to make me happy. He has truly awesome customer service! Thank you Jose!!

Springy!

Ordered springtails from TheBugHub twice, because my first culture died off. (Pretty overwhelmingly certain that one was my fault.) Second one, ordered springtails with a jungle gym. Really clever idea! I can't see as many in the new culture as I could in the first one, but they may be hiding in the jungle gym? Still, everyone seems plenty healthy and there's still a good number visible! My first culture does still live on in part in an isopod habitat, and they're thriving there.

Huge Active Culture

This culture gave me enough to seed a bioactive setup and a larger culture of springtails so I can start keeping them myself. Very active, fast shipping, easily hundreds of springtails in the culture.
